Luxurious Master Bath

A bathroom with a bathtub, a vanity with a granite countertop, bathroom towels hanging on a towel rack, a window, and various toiletries on the countertop.

Before.

Tired of showering in a dark, cave-like space and working around a bulky tub they never used, this client was ready to sell their home just to get a fresh start. Instead, we were asked to transform the space—the objectives were: open up the shower, install a tub they’ll actually enjoy, add a highly functional vanity, and create new access to the master closet.

Modern bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, a freestanding bathtub, and a gray vanity with a marble countertop. Decor includes three framed artworks on the wall, a small green rug, and a window letting in natural light.

After.

We installed a smaller freestanding tub, which opened up space to angle the shower and add extra elbow room. To make the shower feel brighter and larger, we incorporated as much glass as possible and added LED lighting inside the niche. Around the tub, a wainscot accent ties in with the new painted vanity—customized with built-in power, hair tool storage, a full-height cabinet with outlets, and an LED makeup mirror. We also introduced a pocket door into the master closet and reworked the layout for maximum storage, complete with a built-in dresser and a full-length lighted mirror.
