The Statement Kitchen
Before.
Outdated and dysfunctional, this kitchen sat in the heart of Ogden’s East Bench. The home itself was full of character, and it deserved a kitchen that matched. Our top priorities were improving functionality, tying in the green tones from the kitchen nook, opening the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and making space for a full-sized refrigerator. The result is a kitchen that’s just as unique as the home it belongs to.
After.
We refinished the original hardwood floors, carefully patching where needed to preserve their charm. Removing the dining wall made room for an extra-wide peninsula with storage along the back, creating both function and flow. A green tile backsplash ties the kitchen to the cozy eat-in nook, while shifting the back entry wall gave us space for a full-sized refrigerator. To complete the design, we added custom hand-blown glass pendants- one of a kind pieces that highlight the character and uniqueness of the home.
